A good work/life balance is part of the Wisereach ethos, and we love to hear what other people have been up to.  Pete Chapman is working on a project for us in Dublin, but on the May Bank Holiday weekend he shrugged off his business suit, slipped on the Lycra, and set off with his three intrepid friends to cycle from Edinburgh to Newcastle on the Coast and Castles route:

As you get to know your client and their team you can find yourself adopting behaviour that the Inland Revenue classifies as becoming “part and parcel” of the organisation and therefore defines you as an employee and no longer complies with IR35 legislation.  IR35 Compliance needs to become a way of life for consultants!

According to the 2014 Social Media Marketing Industry Report over 90% of marketers say that they regularly use Facebook to target their audience. I suppose it wasn't surprising then that a banner flashed up on my home page that really caught my interest.
